HI: I just had to tell you!!! I took Frisco to Petco tonight to pick up some new tennis balls--lately he is going crazy for them when I train -- which is good! I had him do a down and I disappeared from site. People walked by with and without dogs and one couple even let their sheltie sniff Frisco and he did not move!!! WHAT A GOOOOOOD BOY!! Then we went to stand in line to check out. He is always sooo nosey and has to put his front paws on the counter while the person in front of us is checking out to sniff what they bought. Well when it was our turn I wanted him to pick up the package of 2 tennis balls he had been carrying-- which he did--I then patted the counter for him to put his paws up there to lay the tennis balls on the counter, but instead he just jumped up on the counter with all fours and put the balls down!! Everyone just roared and thought he was the most clever dog they had ever seen!! I was soooo proud of him!! They all said that they had their entertainment for the nite!!

Deb..we are rolling. Her recent feat is a new trick ?self taught?..Had to take a double take when I left to take Dutch for a walk. SHE was DOING A BLACK FLIP. OK were is the video camera when you need it...now she will do it for snack.

Happy to report Preliminary exrays looked excellent, and no problems with health and or potty training. She does love to dig and chew..man what a set of jaws.

Had to tell you what a smarttie she is!!! Have masterd *here, platz, sitz and sitz in motion go on stay back waite and hup* ALL with a smile! My only complaint is that she is not effected by rain, sleet or mud (G).

Hello again. Obedience going great. He is so intense on watching and wanting to do things. Edgar has turned out to be best of friends with both boys. Have to walk him off field when the socker games get going so he wont feel left out or take off after the ball (he joined in a couple times!). Started Personal Protection training 1-2 times weeks and moved to both a hard s. Instructor was suprised this medium size dog was so powerfull and commented that he loved the clear headedness that Edgar keeps even if threatend. Say hello to your husband for me. Thank you. He is awesome.

Bless, what can I say about her?

Perhaps her nicknames will help. First is "Best Out West Bless" and "Sweet Bless". Then there's "Bless the Pest". Ah, and let's not forget "TownCrier". Bless is absolutely the sweetest, most loving girl. She has never met a stranger. She's a great Therapy Dog (after the first 5 minutes when I've reminded her not to try to jump into everyone's lap). Bless has won, hands down, the contest of seeing how many square inches of her body can be placed into contact with mine on the bed. Bless loves obedience and tracking, has tested for Schutzhund and has great drives (we'd do that if we didn't have to drive at least 330 miles one way to train). We finally have found a trainer who will work with non-border collies, so Bless wil start herding training this summer. Bless is an absolutely maniac retriever; in fact she's missing two teeth from her love of retrieving a 55 gallon oil drum (which is now barricaded so she can't get to it). The "TownCrier" title is also well earned. Bless loves company, and gets so excited when friends come to the house that she does a dance complete with a happy bark, "Hey! Look! We have company! We have Company! Hurray!" She also loves to "help" me start the car by following my hand as I put the key into the ignition and barking as I turn it on. She continues to bark as we drive and tries to herd the other cars off the road so we have plenty of room. There is only one Bless--so full of joy of life, so exuberant, so silly, so anxious to please, so loving.

What a girl!

Mrs. Debi

Cici girl is the best of the dogs for our livestock. Gabriel use her for tracking a hunt she does very well (this suprised his hunting dog friends). Also she will not leave the far orchard boundaries. We know because the workers tell us. She will go to the line but not leave. Even the cattle respect her. She eye to them and they move they go so easy now. Also a very good mother she has been. She is a love this beautiful girl. You know she reads my soul.
